IBC Laundering

CCR Plascon specialises in laundering of light gauge and Heavy duty Intermediated Bulk Containers, also known as IBCs and bulkie boxes.

Based in Perth, Western Australia in the Bassendean industrial Park, the company offers a professional fast turn around service to clients who have fleets of IBCs that require them cleaned, repaired and pressure tested before each fill. The service also includes free pick-up and delivery to customer’s facilities and on-site tank cleaning is also available, if required.

All IBCs that come into the CCR Plascon facility go through a 6 part laundering and QA process consisting of the following:

Draining excess residual product from units. (Product can be returned to client)
External high pressure hot water and surfactant clean
Internal high temp pressure clean
Forced fan air drying
Pressure testing, valve and seal check and replacement if required
Cage repairs and QA before delivery

The company’s work safe practices ensure the safety of its operators. As a general rule, a comprehensive analysis is undertaken of the product that is to be cleaned out of the IBCs. The company will work with the relevant client to adopt the best cleaning process which is not going to compromise the environment or the health of operators. Material Safety Data Sheets will be required from the client and all work is performed with compliance to ADG Edition 7.
